At the outbreak of the First World War, one of the cinemas in Gorizia was the “Central Bio, corso G. Verdi 32, p. Ginnastica, propr. I. Medved” (Paternolli Administrative and Commercial Guide for the Princely County of Gorizia and Gradisca, 1913-1914). In the image the rear front of the building with the passage through the courtyard that led from Corso Verdi to Piazza della Ginnastica.
