The Ordea Cinema on Herzl Street in Ramat Gan, was the first cinema in Ramat Gan. Its construction began on March 15, 1936 by Yaakov Rosenblum and on April 21, 1937 it opened its doors with a premiere, the proceeds of which were dedicated to the establishment of an orphanage in Tel Aviv.
The cinema stands in Rambam Square, which is also known today as Orda Square, after the cinema.
The Orda Cinema was large and magnificent, it had about 800 seats, a hall, a gallery and a large stage for shows.
In 1991 it ceased to be used as a cinema, served for several years as a branch of the First International Bank and is now housed in a branch building of Super Pharm.
